Disabled Access

We warmly welcome visitors with disabilities to our gardens; we also welcome assistance dogs. Most of the site has a good degree of access, however if you require any further information or you wish to see our access statement .

Indoor attractions

It is possible for wheelchair users to gain access to the indoor attractions at Ryton Gardens. There are no steps within our main visitor buildings.

Gardens

We have gravel pathways throughout the grounds, which enable access to the ten acres of gardens. Only registered assistance dogs are permitted in the gardens.

Toilet Facilities

Toilets suitable for wheelchair users are located in the Restaurant and outside the shop and are equipped with emergency call alarms.

Courtesy Wheelchairs

There are a limited number of wheelchairs available on a first come, first served basis. Please check at the shop on arrival for availability.

Parking

Disabled Car Parking spaces are available in the main car park, close to the entrance. Parking is FREE.
