Learn how to encourage wildlife at home

£30 (Garden Organic Members) / £36 (Non Members)

If you’re keen to do your bit to encourage wildlife at home, but don’t know how to start, this course is the perfect way to gain an overview of how to create a wildlife friendly outdoor space.

This course will start by exploring why it’s important to encourage wildlife in our gardens and looking at wildlife-friendly gardening practices.

Participants will then learn how to create different wildlife habitats in their own outdoor spaces, with a focus on small urban gardens, looking at suitable wildlife friendly plants including wildflowers and natives.

The course will also include a tour of the wildlife-friendly highlights at Ryton Gardens, enabling participants to see some of the ideas in practice.

At the end of the course all participants will develop a personal garden wildlife action plan to take home and implement.
