*On this practical course, you will learn about safety in the garden, different cutting tools and their maintenance, and various pruning and cutting techniques. After a demonstration, you will have an opportunity to practice and by the end of the session you will have the confidence to tackle your own basic pruning.

Level 2 Practical is a rolling programme of Saturday mornings over a year – you can join at any point and continue until you complete all the assessments. Level 2 theory courses on Saturday afternoons and Thursday evenings each consist of four individual units with RHS exams. Level 3 will be starting later in 2012.
The courses can also be studied online from your home.
