The course will cover:

· How to mix and work with ‘cob’ – a traditional building material used around the world for ovens, houses and structures
· Hands–on experience of the materials and key stages in building a five-foot Earth Oven

Please dress for the weather, as we will be working outside. We advise you to wear old clothes and bring gardening gloves and sturdy shoes or wellington boots, as we will be mixing cob by foot. A general handout will be provided but you may wish to take your own notes.

This friendly and practical 2-day course runs from 10am-4pm and includes lunch each day, light refreshments and all materials. By the end of it you will have helped build an Earth Oven at Garden Organic and you will be equipped to build one of your own. Be inspired, meet like minded people and enjoy spending a weekend in the inspiring setting of the gardens.
